2023 13U London Talons Tournament Champions!!!
Our 13U Sarnia Brigade are Tournament Champions!!!
Our 13U's had a great weekend in London! The boys battled through some tough round robin games to finish 2-1 and earn a quarter final spot as a #2 seed. On Sunday morning we beat #1 seed Beamsville in a tight 6-5 game. We then went on to beat DKMB in the semi final 5-3 in extra innings, in what I'm sure was the game of the Tournament. We finished strong against Chatham in the Final and walked them off 11-1 for the Championship victory Sunday afternoon.
After many runner-up finishes over the last few years, I am very proud to be able to call this group Champions!! You've earned it! This weekend was a top to bottom team effort with contributions coming from the entire roster, all the way through. Timely hitting, incredible pitching, tight D and great attitudes pulled it all together for us. Congratulations boys and lets keep working towards an even stronger finish to this season!!
A special shout out the rest of the coaching staff as well. Thank you to Jamie, Brandon and Dan!! As well as our scorekeeping team Jess and Emilie! Much appreciated.
