Brigade 13U OBA And Windsor Nationals 12U Tie
Brigade 13U OBA and Windsor Nationals 12U tied 5-5 on Sunday.
Brigade 13U OBA opened the scoring in the top of the fourth thanks to three singles. Brigade 13U OBA first got on the board when Logan A singled, scoring one run.
Windsor Nationals 12U tied the game in the bottom of the sixth thanks to a double by Andrew H, a double by Miguel M, and a single by Tanner T.
Gavin H stepped on the hill first for Brigade 13U OBA. The pitcher allowed five hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out six and walking two. Peyton O led things off on the mound for Windsor Nationals 12U. The righty allowed five hits and four runs (one earned) over three innings, striking out five and walking none.
Garret H went 1-for-4 at the plate and led the team with two runs batted in. Gavin L, Brigade 13U OBA's number nine hitter, led the team with two hits in three at-bats. Mason P stole two bases.
Windsor Nationals 12U tallied 13 hits in the game. Miguel provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Windsor Nationals 12U with two runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 2-for-4 on the day. Andrew, Windsor Nationals 12U's number nine hitter, led the team with three hits in three at-bats. Drew K, Matthew M, and Tanner each collected multiple hits for Windsor Nationals 12U. Windsor Nationals 12U were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Tanner had the most chances in the field with three.
