Thanks for registering for the 2026 Sarnia Brigade 11U Rep Tryouts. I’m Matt Douglas, Head Coach, and here are the key details:

⚾ Tryout Schedule

Tryout #1 – Fri, Sept 5 | 6–8pm @ Tecumseh Park

·         Group 1 (Last names A–L): Arrive 5:30pm for 6pm start

·         Group 2 (Last names M–Z): Arrive 6:30pm for 7pm start

Tryout #2 – Sun, Sept 7 | 10am–12pm @ Clearwater Park Diamond #2

·         Group 1: Arrive 9:30am for 10am start

·         Group 2: Arrive 10:30am for 11am start

Tryout #3 – Tues, Sept 9 | 6–8pm @ Clearwater Park Diamond #2

📝 Roster Announcements

• Initial roster: After Tryout #2 (evening of Sept 7 via Sarnia Brigade website)
• Final roster: Evening of Sept 10

🔍 Evaluation Criteria

• Skills: Fielding, throwing (accuracy/speed), hitting (contact/power), baserunning
• Soft skills: Coachability, attitude, hustle, teamwork

🧢 What to Bring

• Protective cup, baseball pants, cleats, cap, helmet, glove, water bottle
• No warm-ups—arrive ready to play

📅 Season Expectations

• Indoor training starts Jan/Feb 2025
• 45–55 games Apr–Sept 2026
• 4–5 tournaments (1–2 overnight), including Provincials on Labour Day weekend
