General Tournament Information
Welcome to the 2019 Rookie Ball 'AA' Baseball Ontario Championships hosted by the Sarnia Braves Baseball Club.  We are delighted to be your hosts for what will surely be a fantastic weekend of championship baseball.




Listed below are some answers to the various questions frequently asked about the event.  If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact the individuals below who will be more than happy to help out.

  • Hotel booking information is currently listed on the main Sarnia Braves website at https://sarniabraves.org/Public/Documents/8U_9U_Baseball_Ontario_Championships_.pdf
  • The schedule will not be released until approved by Baseball Ontario sometime in the middle of August. 
  • The draw is completed at the Baseball Ontario head office by Baseball Ontario staff.  First round pairings can be found under the REP playoffs tab in the tournament section.
  • Be prepared to play your first game as early as 9:00 am on Friday August 30th.
  • Weather permitting, most 8u games will take place at Germain Park and most 9u games will take place at Clearwater (with the exception of a few games).  The final rounds of both tournaments will be held at Clearwater
  • Maps of each park are posted on the tournament website which can be found by following the links from sarniabraves.org
  • A Twitter account has been setup and linked to the website.   You can follow along at @2019RookieOBA
  • The registration fee is $450.  Cheques can be made out to Sarnia Braves Baseball Club.
