2020 brings us to our 26th year!
The Sarnia Braves are proud to announce they are receiving team registrations for the 26th Annual Stan Slack International 18U Midget Tournament.

The tournament will be held at Errol Russell Park and Blackwell Park July 10-12th, 2020. Teams will have a 4 game guaranteed minimum.

Stan, who was the unofficial patriarch of the Sarnia Braves Minor Baseball Organization, passed away on June 12, 2013. He is believed to be one of the youngest professional baseball players ever, having signed a contract with the St. Louis Cardinals when he was just 14. He played nine minor-league seasons with the Cardinals and Milwaukee Braves, and was once a teammate of Hank Aaron.

The first use of the Braves moniker was in 1956. Stan was the playing coach of the Senior team. Stan was also one of the founders of the current Braves organization in 1994.
