COVID-19 Update:
As spring approaches, and cabin fever grows with our social and physical distancing, we are all anxious for the time that baseball is again on our agendas.
However, Baseball Ontario has suspended baseball operations in the province until May 1 and are very likely to extend the suspension well beyond this date in the near future. As the effects of the pandemic continue to be felt throughout the province it has become clear that many municipalities have already suspended ball diamond permits through May and June. Baseball Ontario is actively monitoring the situation and is still hopeful that we can have some form of a shortened baseball season in 2020. Thus, our plan for the Sarnia Braves season is also on hold until Baseball Ontario allows the resumption of baseball activities in the province.
