Game Report: Sarnia 10-8 Strathroy It was a back and forth affair at Royals Field on Saturday as Nick Baljeu took the hill for the Brigade against an unbeaten Strathroy squad in Southwestern League action. Julian Service led the game off with a shot to the centerfield wall for a triple in a precursor of the offensive battle that was to come. Second baseman Justin Randall, in his first action of 2022, knocked in Service with a SAC fly to centerfield to give the visitors a 1-0 lead. Brennan Healy would score on a wild pitch in the second inning and it was 2-0 Sarnia after their half.

Game Report: Sarnia 8-4 London The Sarnia Brigade got back to league play after a week hiatus and defeated the London Badgers at Labatt Park on Tuesday night. The win moves Sarnia to 4-1 in the Southwestern League. Sarnia would take a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning as Keegan Brandon put a shot to the right-center wall that scored Wesley Brooks.

The Sarnia Brigade got some good pitching and timely hitting in beating the Ilderton Riverhawks 5-4 on Thursday night at Labatt Park. Wade Babula made his first start of the year. He threw five innings and struck out two while scattering five hits. Sarnia took a 2-0 lead in the top of the third. Wesley Brooks got things started with a single which was followed up by an Alex McLean walk. Vince Caschera rejoined the starting lineup for the first time in 2022 and came through with an RBI single to cash Brooks. Jack Symington would then single in McLean.

The Sarnia Brigade offense got behind a no-hit performance from Alex McLean in defeating the Lakeside Tigers 10-0 at Pulham Field in London last night. McLean threw 95 pitches on his way to the no-no, striking out five. Credit goes to catcher Quinton Johnston who called an excellent game.

Game Report - Sarnia 17-11 London It was a slugfest to start the season at Labatt Park as the Brigade defeated the London Badgers 17-11 at the world's oldest ballpark.Wesley Brooks led the Brigade with four hits, four RBI, three runs scored and two stolen bases in his debut. Wade Babula (pictured) also scored three times and had three RBI.
